MAE Sump Pans

Does anyone have experience of adapting and fitting a sump pan for use with the small 9" MAE flywheel. The starter motor has to be very small and fits right under the block on the right rear side (Due to the FF adapter plate).

It looks as though the sump has to be heavily modified in the corner to allow for the starter to fit. Help anyone?

Regards
Tony
