ACO Forms for Le Mans 2005
Has anyone out there recieved their application forms from the ACO yet?
I fear the change in MSA procedures this year could have delayed their sending the authorisations to ACO with subsequent knock-on effect. Still the ferry has been booked and there's 8 weeks to go. |

Nope, Nuffin from the MSA, mind you, my chums in Oregon aint got nuffin niever!
We very rarely hear anything until May, then it's panic, panic panic! It beats me how they ever get the race done on time...but they always do... My ferry's booked too (in November!). Now I've got Long Beach over with I can start to repack for France. |

Nothing for me either. I was beginning to wonder too, but as stoowert says this is how it is every year. Last minute panic to get the form back in time (d'ye think it really matthers that much tho, given the ACO's relaxed attitude to organisation?)
Me, I've got the added disadvantage of moving house this Friday and I'm pretty sure I gave the MSA/ACO the current address, so I hope the new folk forward the mail on tout de suite. |

'Fraid not. Alistair finally made an honest woman of her and they've decided to spend this year @ Knockhill and didn't even bother applying for the GP. Hoefully next year will see them both travelling farther afield.

Nuffin yet here in "Leafy Surrey". Mind you, with the usual Caterham postal "Service" it could be half-way to Albania!

Mine arrived in the post on Wed (19 apr) Unfortunately, I will miss it this year (AGAIN!) Play safe and don't scratch an `unusual' place whilst on the telly. They have updated the map as it no longer shows "Parc des Exibitions" in detail. Have some crêpes at the Grand Marnier stand and think of me.

Jolly pleased to say ours arrived yesterday to.
Is it my imagination or is direct from the ACO something new? thought they came from RACMSA in previous years... |

Bodysnatchers arrived yesterday- and he even remembered to put the new address on, so it came to the new house! Guess he's more organised than he lets on!

After you've attended for a year or so, the ACO mail out the invites direct and bypass the middleman (MSA). Responses should be mailed direct back to the ACO. I take it you (and other readers) are aware that next year the MSA will not be issuing the ACO with a list of applicants. It's up to the individual to apply direct to the ACO for an invitation to go and play. |

Ty,
This will be my 11th year (I think) My form has always come via Peter Todd. Maybe the system of supplying names has kicked in this year. I do have my 'To Whom it May Cocern' letter from Peter. And a ticket for the tunnel |

FAO turbo-WW (and any others from 106)
The well known assembly area marshal crashfishy has expressed an interest in being G.O.P. on weds and/or thurs practice days, depending on the timings. Can you remember what rotation we move onto this year? I know we were not on Weds last year, so does this mean first session Weds this year? I'm sending the form back today with her name on it..... Now all we have to do is keep the lecherous old Austrians in their skimpy Speedos out of sight. |

Perhaps it's the Austrains that should be worried...
My memory's not that good, but your logic seems sound. Maybe we get to do the cornery thing again. Crashfishy ( ) will be most welcome |
