Nearly forgot about this weekend! oops!

Croft is a good circuit, and providing it's all kept clean in the first few bends, some good racing shall be in order!

Anyone know what the weather's up to this weekend there?

Alfa Fan has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
You've missed of #45 Jim Pocklington in the entry list.

I hope RK comes back better for Oulton as the car was very uncompetitive. I think that it's the best basis for a BTCC car, it's just underdeveloped.

I like how the Leon's are gradually moving up the times from FP 1 to 2..

Just been looking at the weather forecast too, meant to be raining all day !

Gio had a rear suspension problem early in qualifying that would probably account for his lack of pace until the end of the session. If Neal, Shedden and Turkington can keep ahead of Plato in tomorrow's races that should close up the championship battle nicely.

Been home an hour or so. What have we learnt from today, Colin Turkington is the man to watch tomorrow he has been really on it all day. As for qualifying that is one of the best sessions I have seen for a long long time, oh yes the Pinkey/Marsh Alfa's have a new paint job it was descriped as Schumacher Red....

Well done to Colin Turkington, also the first BMW win in the championship since 1996.

Giovanardi takes 1 point out of Plato's lead too. Hopefully by the end of the day the whole championship will be closer.

Neal was wheeled off the grid and into the garage.

These bloody stupid tyre walls practically on the track are a travesty of justice - cars are getting really badly damaged by these things.

Odd how they are at every other Croft meeting but no one else seems to have a problem with them. The trick is to stay on the black stuff and not drive into the tyres.
