I don’t think they’re ex Porsche IMSA or Le Mans GTRs as they used centre lock wheels (As in pic). Nice though!

Not on track but how often do you see a Bugeye Sprite, 3000, Jensen-Healy, Morgan and an Alfa at the same time

More likely over here, naturally, but good to see at The Mitty! Morgan showing British number plate, but presume for show / display only?

Although we do get the odd Corvair racing in Europe, obviously from the pic with 3 together, more common in the US?

Yes, that is just a display tag. He has a Georgia "red plate" from the 1960s with the same number on the back. That is the first Jensen-Healey I've ever seen in the flesh. I see Corvairs on the street pretty frequently. There are always several race cars at SCCA and SVRA weekends I go to as well.

Yes, it was 75-80F (22-25C? I think) without a cloud in the sky all weekend.

I found the answer, these are new "tribute" cars: http://www.motorwerksracing.com/jagermeister-tribute

They only ran the Jagermeister car this weekend.

I'm sorry I missed this in the run up to the race, but I didn't know this and that's really cool! Just off the front page of the website the Pug, Lola-Aston, and especially the Rafanelli Lola B98/10 would be great to see.

We had a GT3 and GT4ish Aston at the Mitty this weekend. For the record the R-One wasn't a R-One but a Lola B12/10 Toyota (Actually the same as a B08/10) which we all saw win Petit in 2012. It sounded amazing though!

They’re very nice! Good to see the 924/944 (very much unloved over here in the past, but interest starting to pick up) having so much attention spent on it! I see the tribute cars use a later Audi 20 valve turbo engine, rather than the original (VW Transporter based) 8 valve used in period. Not a bad plan, if originality not an issue, as parts are likely more to be available!

Pretty awesome seeing the difference in who's fastest on what part of the track and HOW different they are!
