Following the enforced absence from the venue a number of changes have been implemented.
These include NO CHILDREN UNDER 16 or ANIMALS, and limitations on stage layouts.

That's fantastic news, I'd heard that it was possible it would be returning but the confirmation is great news for rallying in the south east Bring on "the snake"

Forgive the ignorance but where is Longcross? Is it the test track area adjacent to the M3?

I understood the 'absence' was due to QinetiQ selling the land for housing development; certainly I can't see anything on the SCMC website about the event or the venue.... or am I missing something? I don't dare to imagine we can go back there as a sprint venue, do I?

SCMC web site just the date is listed.
I can confirm it's on as I have had mail from the radio control asking for my help as a radio operator.
As for the site as building land, think that's what I heard was meant to happen but costs of getting rid of the roads and associated concrete bits is very very high.
Those roads were built for tanks!
