Manfred Winkelhock
Yesterday was the 25th anniversary of Manfred's passing following his accident in Mosport. I remember the news announcement as if it was yesterday. It was to be the start of a traumatic few weeks for German motorsport with the loss of Stefan Bellof in Spa shortly afterwards. Both died in Porsche 956/962s. There's a very nice tribute on Autosport here.
