Peter Ergis
Sad to report that Peter Ergis, long time member of HRSR, has lost his battle with cancer.
Peter was a great bloke with a ready wit and always sure to look at the humorous side of any event. He raced a Ford Anglia and later a Ford Cortina GT/Lotus with HRSR since 1989 right up until last year when he contracted this awful disease. Peter wasn't bothered about winning; he just wanted to compete and have fun. He'll be greatly missed and the paddocks will be a poorer place without him. Peter Wray |

That's bad news Pete, I raced with him for a couple of seasons or so and as you say he just raced to enjoy himself.
Having lost a great mate to this terrible disease in the last few weeks I know how his friends and family are feeling at this time. RIP Peter. |
