Digicell Williams International Saloons (Birley Vs Williamson!)
This weekend there a superb mod saloon race in prospect, Rod Birley, Steve Hall, Barry Rabbitt, Adrian Beer, and Nick Williamson will take on the best cars and drivers in the Carribean. It promises to be a seriously wild race, and its held at Busy Park in Barbados. I'll post up some pics from testing tonight but when you see the full enrty you will all want to be watching this - I'm trying to arrange a live stream so watch this space!

Spoke to Nick this morning, he had just got to the hotel and was off to get the hire car and check out the circuit and his car..Lucky bugger
Wish this was not the busiest time of the year for me (New 60 plate on Tuesday) or I would have been there too.........maybe next year....... Looking forward to Monday at The Rock though, should have a good race in the Eurosaloons and Andy and The Aussie Goliath has entered too |

Here's the Timetable
(notice the 4 lap qualifying!) Rod is sharing Steve's Audi with him. There is a five hours time difference. Starts at 9AM local time on Sunday and the live streaming should appear here |

Testing today was a bit delated for our cars, our fuel only arrived at 5pm!!! But all cars ran well. Barry Rabbit was good - but a hevy rain shower stopped any real meaningful times. Adrian Beer's MG handles well too. Nick was doing ok but the car is a bit too stiff. Steve Hall however was flying - I thnk that International Challenge Cup my not be a clear cut one!
Pics later but now cocktails! |

yep its a lot of racing.
Was a bit of a mix up yesterday with Rod in Nick's car, a Peugeot 205 and Steves TT. Sue Birley turned a few laps in the Peugeot but has decided against racing. Barry Rabbit is going well now he has got softer springs but had tyre issues as is Adrian Beer and I have forgotten my camera lead! This is likely to become an annual event so next time you see me asking for cars say yes! |
