Your favorite music track from a racing game?
What are some of your favorite songs from racing games?
Gran Turismo 3 Judas Priest-Turbo Lover Goldfinger-99 Red Balloons F1 2000 the first track they play in the menus...don't know the title. Le Mans 24 Hours (original) Dandy Warhols-Bohemain Like You

if you mean the EA sprts version on F1 2000, i dont know the song title but the band is Placebo. my favs-

Dandy Warhols for me - great track. After I heard it on the Le Mans game, I went out and bought the album just to get it. (Long before the single and the Vodaphone ads!).

There's a couple of classics off Wipeout 2097...
From Gran Turismo 1, there's the genius of Garbage's As Heaven Is Wide. There's a rockin' Fat Boy Slim track on GT2. Placebo's Every You Every Me is brilliant and features as mentioned on F1 2000. The Chicane music from F1 2001 is marvellous. F1 '97 had some pretty good tracks, and of course, the best racing game soundtrack ever is... MUPPET RACE MANIA!!! You CANNOT beat it... genius doesn't come close...

There is only one choice for me, the thunder of the Panoz on the Mulsanne is music enough. I usually turn off soundtracks on my games.

definitely either Sweet 16 by Feeder or As Heaven is Wide by Garbage from Gran Turismo!!!!!
was ****ed off when i heard that I Think I'm Paranoid by Garbage would only appear on the south american version of Gran Turismo 2!!!! |

The Joe Satriani track on Formula One '95 is well good.

The annoying thing is on GT2 that you can't turn he music down without turning down the music for the menus, because they always loop the same track, it never changes, esp. annoying with endurance races!

you do have a radio or cd player or mp3s or a cd-rom in your computer yes? iuse to listen to mp3s on my laptop every now and then until that stoped turning on. i would listen to cds but the the reciver cant put out ps2 sounds and music fom the cd player at the same time so oh well.
