Mazda Rx8 Good, Bad, Indifferent....
I have finally made the decision to get rid of the much unloved Magna....
... and for reasons I dont get yet (probably has something to do with approaching my 35th birthday very soon), a Sports Car seems to be on the list of things to replace the MitsuMeanie with.... Now there are some really nice shots of the Rx8 Here and a club/fan site Here but I was more vurious to learn if anyone had one to live with as an every day car..... |

When you buy it can i just borrow it for a weekend. I promise i wont take the whole car to the racetrack. |

It's my current 'dream car'! It even manages to look better than the RX7! I want one too! Is it expensive? Last edited by ASCII Man; 28 Aug 2004 at 22:00. |

Depends how you pay for it....
AU$56,700 is current Australian list price (plus onroad costs), or around AU$950/mth in lease costs... ... not much if you say it quickly |

GTR why????
I know two people with RX8's they like them. If they had 2004 model Celicas they would have the same verdict. Why not buy someting with the best BANG for the bucks... Falcon XR6Turbo, your chose of APS or UNICHIP based hot ups.. 330 kws for a outlay of 40 Large. |

The RX8 is good. Very good in fact. A performance bargain in the UK. Which is why it's so popular. Looks different to its competitors, goes like the clappers, has Mazda reliability (after a few early hiccups).
But it's nowhere near as good as the Nissan 350Z. |
