Here's a novel idea.
I was browsing another forum, and I saw that they had little male/female signs below usernames. I think they were running vBulletin, it looked very similar to this forum, in terms of layout. So, why not try it here? It'd stop people thinking you were a man when you weren't and vice versa. IMO it's a good idea.

Well you're clearly blind ASCII. It was pretty obvious Ferrari Fanatic was a lady by her extensive use of the word Vicki at the end of her posts!
