f1freak should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Perth Street Circuit Question...

Does anyone have a map, or know the exact roads which they wanted to use for the Perth Street Circuit they once proposed???...

I can't find any useful information on the track and its layout...

Any help would be good, cheers in advance...

I'm not sure a track was ever worked out.

AVESCO was pushing for one because they didn't want to keep going to Wanneroo, when the WA Government said no (to concentrate on the Rally) Tony had a whinge, and not much has been mentioned since (this was 2001 or so from memory)

I know the circuit would have used Langley and Ozone Reserves, and use portions of Riverside Drive, Victoria Avenue, Terrace Road and Adelaide Terrace...

The track didn't work out, because in order to build the track, they've have to pave over 7000m²+ or grass land in those reserves mentioned above, and they didn't want to waste that area for an event which would occur once a year...

Indeed, it was 2001 when they decided to give up on the circuit...

None-the-less, I still haven't seen how the circuit would look like exactly. I remember seeing a rough representation of it on RPM, however, this was a while ago...

I know Riverside drive was slated to be the main straight with the pits there...

but scrapped because of the reason f1freak gave.... loss of to much grassed park area.
