As I said, there was a little delay. CRM and A-Teknik ordered the car before than Zengo, so they have it already while Zengo doesn't.

Doesn't make much sense to me, unless Huff is driving for free/expenses.

Audi 1-2 pole for Comini

What's happening with Craft-Bamboo?
Oriola manage P9 but Nash was almost 2 second slower then Ficza and Valente was 5 seconds down

Great race 1. Lot of fighting, but only two minor incidents.

Yeah great race and a superb Stefano Comini with a really good Audi in SPA. Colgiago struggle and did a mistake at the first corner but good job by the the young Honda guns Lessens and Tassi that keep behind him Vernay.
Only one point for Corthals and the Astra, is it a problem with Bop or maybe is the team that is not working well?

No idea. They were very fast in TCR Benelux.

Yes and they almost win the championship...but maybe in international level is different. It's strange because Homola last year was really fast

I meant this year. Homola and Caprasse raced it two weeks ago, They took pole and one win.
Pole time was fastest then Comini pole time.
I don't get it where they loose so much time when the same team run cars and they drive on same tires as in TCR Benelux.

Ah yes you're right...so it's even more strange

But maybe the conditions were different because the pole of TCR Benelux was 2sec slower than the one in TCR Int with Comini. Comini had also some problems with the car over the weekend in TCR Benelux, I imagine they used Benelux races to improve the car set up for the main series.

Mmmh not at all. You looked at the average time (2:32.210), but Homola did 2:30.759 as single lap, 2.2 faster than his today's qualifying and few thousandths better than Comini's pole.

They are quite unlucky, I think they have a very good engine (just look at the performances in Bahrain...) but the reliability is quite poor.

Ah okay, well maybe today conditions were different...i cannot understand this big difference really, bop should be the same I imagine.
In Bahrein I think the Opel should have raced with the same bop as qualy...

You guys aren't the only ones thinking something is up with the Opels...

“Corthals was very quick, more and more every lap, it looked like he was changing engine maps each lap, there was more and more black smoke coming out of the Opel and he came past very easily.”

http://www.touringcartimes.com/2017/...ing-opel-form/

Very interesting.

Vervisch and Huff are completely gregarious for Comini and Vernay. Ok the reason is clear, but it's a bit annoying, considering that we are only at the third round of the season.

I really appreciated Lessennes. Young and foolish, spectacular.

Vervish had not the pace in my opinion, he almost block Comini in race two
Huff did a different job and really play the game for WRT and JKV.

Monza will be really interesting

I agree. Nothing 'illegal' but especially Huff, he has a job to do and it's too early in the season for these games. Makes it interesting, however.

Lessennes and Tassi, both at just 17, they really could become good drivers in years to come.

I guess Huff did his job, but there is an awful lot of time left in the championship for it to become irrelevant...

“The situation with the Opels is strange”, said the Spaniard. “One day they are nowhere, then they dominate like in Bahrain in qualifying and the next minute they’re struggling again. Corthals was very strong today, and he came from very far back.”
Can he not say the same about himself and his teammates at Craft Bamboo?

Both races were great. Okay race 2 a bit to much contact.

What was wrong with Colciago this weekend? No speed compared to his inexperienced teammate Tassi.

So far Lukoil Craft Bamboo and WestCoast disappointing this season.
And the bad luck for the Opels keep on.
