What do you think will happen with F2 moving forward?
It seems that this new car still has reliability issues, overheats running behind other cars. Will they leave it as is? Design a new car? Will teams continue to accept this considering the budget issues?

Might seem a bit of an odd question, but out of the current F2 grid, does anyone how many of them are (and conversely how many aren't) affiliated with an F1 team in some way?
So, reserve/development/academy/junior driver?

Or how many have never been affiliated with an F1 team?

Just interested to see how many have made it to F2 without an F1 team backing in some way.

TIA.

They’ve almost all made it F2 without an F1 team backing them, maybe except some Red Bull money.

You generally pay for an F1 affiliation with the idea you can use that to encourage sponsors to lighten the load on poor old Dad. Doesn’t normally work.
