Hmm, darcym and JD have the same number of posts at this moment in time. Spooky.

I believe that he was banned, yes, but this is getting away from the subject quite a long way now.

I'll start my first win over Justin by adding one to my post tally - and putting this thread back on track by asking

Who's the fav's for the SFFC ?

I believe Gavin Wills did a few races there last year.

Richard Misters must have a shot at it this year with the new swift ?

Not to sure who else is racing in SFFC this year and whos a front runner.

Is anyone going for more than one championship this year ? has anyone changed championships this year ?

I'll post my top 6 for each championship as I have not done so yet

(not in order)

NWFFC

1.) John Hutchinson - says he's giving it a miss for the year...I doubt it
2.) Ian Gough
3.) Steve Roberts
4.) Chris Hodgen
5.) Alan Pike (if he lives up to his hype)
6.) David Fricker

SOM

1.) Ed Moore
2.) Alex Ames
3.) Andrew Harris
4.) Andrew Jones
5.) Keith Sekree
6.) Wayne Poole

SOM

1.) Peter Daly
2.) Ed Moore ( I think he'll have a crack at this championship either aswell as or instead of combe
3.) (begrudgingly) Justin Dawkins
4.) Gavin Wills
5.) Stuart Kestenbaum
6.) Alex Ames (I think Alex wants a new challange and will focus on this instead of combe - but I don't know)

SFFC is a little unknow so I'll just do top 3

1.) Richard Misters
2.) Stuart Kestenbaum
3.) David Fricker

I also think Jon Adlam may have a crack at this championship....not sure why but I think he will

Note those are only my opinions !

Is G Jones not worth a mention in the NWFF?

I think Gavin did those few rounds as practice for the Festival, Daly also did one, as did Matt Rivett.

I believe the pacesetter was doing 52.5s before they turned up!

I should point out that I am beating you both. I think darcym's predictions would be OK but I have a feeling his idea of who will be racing where could be wide of the mark.

We both have jobs though Ian!

Also: John Miller is going to be quick this year in Som - expect him in the top 6.

Could I interest you in a second hand copy of Ken Dodd's book "The A to L of Accountancy"?

If he's doing KOK he'll need to do some regional races too though Chris (if he wants to go for the title), any ideas which ones he plans to do?

Actually, he was in here the other day. Dave, where will we see you?

He is doing 4 NWFF rounds and a couple in the SFF Champs. He then plans to do the main KOK events such as Combe race, Sliverstone race and the Festival.

If he's doing four NW rounds only three will count for KOK of course. New points system looks better too, doesn't it?

Ok so I put SOM twice instead of SOM and CCFF but you knew what I meants.

If you mean you wonder if people like Alex Ames will have a crack at SOM....we shall see.
