Honda in great shape!
No surprise about kanaan and Franchiti, but the Rahal trio from 5th to 7th is not what I expected. |

Lets not forget last years inaugural Motegi defending champ, Scott, not Dixon, SHARP! Looking very good, and could threaten a repeat.
Was there anyone, besides me, brave enough to pick him in their Fantasy picks?  Was Takagi's wreck a bad one, and will he be able to run? |

Concerning Scott Sharp:
I'm glad to see him mvoing up and into contention....and I have always been a fan of his driving skills, his personal character, and of his owner, Tom Kelley, and his operation.... The "only" reason why I did not put Scott in my Top 5 is because they have really put their attention into the aero engineering side of the equation as one of their highest areas of focus beginning late last year.... and they have a new engineer for this season....they seem to be making great progress, but developing the kind of rapport and ultimately results that come from this sort of effort take a few races to really sort out.... I think that we are now beginning to see some results from that new direction, and I anticipate even better things from them in upcoming races.... But I don't know if they have completely turned the corner yet in this area.... That' is the "only" reason why he is not one of my Top Five this time around....but he's going to start turning up in my picks in upcoming events... you can count on it.... |
