Ralliart one make series in Oz ????

Hey there,

I wonder if you could help me, I was talking to an Australian guy today who was tellign me about a one make touring car series that is run by RalliArt in Oz. I looked on the web but could find no info anyone help me out?

There is a Mitsubishi Mirage one make series. The Mirages are Ralliart prepared.

I'm not sure of a website though.

One of the guys involved with Mitsubishi in Oz imported 40 odd of these Ralliart prepared Mirages that were destined to be scrapped, dirt cheap. They've got a fair few trick bits, like a high revving hand grenade engine, trick suspension and exauhst etc.. they aren't bad little cars, for their size they really go. I think most of their races will once again be on the Power Tour this year.

Actually aren't the Mirages a PROCAR support act ? Power Tour already have the Daewoos.

I thought PROCAR were taking Formula 3 and the Mirages under their wing ?

the Mirage is series is pretty good , the cars are quite fast and leae the daewoo series for dead , they look like a heap of fun to drive ....didnt Mal rose have something to do with setting up the series ???

So where exactly did these cars come from? They are race prepped? Were they training cars from Ralliart? Unwanted cars from another race series that went under?

As I understand it they're unwanted cars from a Japanese series. That's what I've heard, anyway. They are all race prepped and caged. Every car's been driven by Mal Rose to make sure they're equal. Some are owned by the drivers and some are on a lease deal.
