The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later.
I have noticed a handful of times over the past few weeks that when I try to load a page I get this error.. "The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later."
I am in the IT space, so I can imagine what is happening under the covers to maybe cause this. But just wanted to get some visibility just in case it wasn't a known issue yet. Richard |

Yeah, I've seen it happen a few more times recently.
There's been a couple of extra VMs added to the ESXi7 host and looks like occasionally resources are running out of steam a bit. |

Grant, a couple of things lately.
Firstly, pages often seem quite slow to load. However, this afternoon, when trying to load a new page, I am getting a message that" The database appears to have encountered a problem", whatever that means. To get on this page to make this post, I had to close Firefox twice before it loaded as it should have done. Edit. It took about 45 seconds for this post to be added and appear, if you know what I mean. |

Yup, there's some infrastructure issues at the moment. A bit too much going on.
I'm aware and keeping an eye on it. |

Steps have been taken to shut down two "resource hogs" on the infrastructure. Hopefully this should lead to better stability.

Yeah, I've just installed a few updates and also increased the resources on the database server, so let's see it that makes any improvement.

As of a few moments ago, I'm getting repeated 'Access Denied' messages for the 'Historic Racing Today' forum. It only appears to be affecting this section - I can access other sections without a problem.
Any thoughts? |

No more 'Database errors' although pages seem to be a little slower to load than usual. Could be my end, of course.....

There are still a few errors happening, I'm trying to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks at the moment. It's rather annoying
