heldring should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
getting nervous.....

hello England !!!

forget about arsenal or chelsea, put only la sarthe in your mind !!!
are you also getting more and more nervous every day till the time of mid june is coming up ?
book your ferry ticket !!! le mans is the festival of the year !!!
an english spectacle on french ground.
you have to shame that motorsport country nr. 1 does not have a race over a full 24 hours. what about the chances of the aston martin ?
martin brundle at the wheel ? he should be as excited as the man that is born on the same date as him. england, get awake, and from now on your life is all about the countryside of la sarthe.
a dutchman cannot wait. shall we go first to the eiffel mountains for another awesome 24 hour event ? see you at the nurburgring May 8 ?
the best preparation for le mans 2005

enjoy !!! go to the fuchsrohre !! see you there, bye

So we have two 24 hour races, 2CV at Snetterton at the end of May and Britcar at Silverstone.

Guy, you have unwittingly hit on an event for which we Brits should be rightly proud. There has in fact never been a 24 hour race, 12 hours has been the standard for this endurance fest for over 30 years. The top teams cover some 300 miles, thats an average of around 23mph including refuelling and driver changes. Both Stirling Moss and Derek Bell boast participation on their CV's (not to be confused with 2CV's).

But the event peaked in in 1997 on it's 25th anniversary when a 25 hour race was run. Yes 25 hours, now there's a feather in the British cap.......

Maybe Brundle found an old Aston he can compete in Silverstone 24 hours with lol.

But MB's DBR9 racing project is in 2006 at the earliest I believe.

I wanna go at the Lawn Mowers! a nice British racing green one
