France is taking to long to sort the venue out. I think it will happen just probably not in 2010. We have no news from Venray, I have rumours but nothing solid enough to post.

Investigation is done on a new location for Venray though the current location is part of it. Another location I know of is east of Volkel airbase. This location I suggested myself. Paste +51 39'20.28" +5 44'21.41" in Google eart or maps and you'll find it.
The investigation should be done by july next year and building should start right after. I suspect it could be done by september. maybe a season finale. |

Yes, Volkel is under investigation as new location for circuit de peel. I have sent an E-mail to Toine Wuts, director of "Millieufederatie Limburg", and he sent me an E-mail back saying he'd incorporate my sugestion. I know of the motocross track that's proposed there too, that's why I sugested it. Well, I live in that municipalty too so it's not hard to make the connection. Whether the track will be built at Volkel, Venray or somewhere else is unsure untill July.

Going to make my first trip to see the Eurolates this summer at Lydden, Is there racing on both days?
Been a while since the days of Rockingham and ASCAR etc looking forward to it. |
