Rubio should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
2015 WTCC Race of France

Event preview: http://www.fiawtcc.com/race-preview-...e-wtcc-action/

And track facts http://www.fiawtcc.com/event/race-of-france-2015/

Racing was good last year here, so hopefully it will be the same this year, especially after Slovakia dullness. My man to watch will be Hugo Valente

back to 18 cars, wonder how dominant Citreon will be at their home race.

also think Valente should be good for a little surprise this weekend.

No matter what stewards decide, I'm afraid we are about to get a big scandal

Hugely dissapointed with the results (again). However races were pretty good, track is good for passing. Just needs an equal field

would be more entertaining if citroen weren't that strong, sure citroen did a good job, but it can't be good for the series if they win everything so easily. should think about adding a permanent extra weight of 50-60kg to the citroen plus the compensation weight.

As much as I would love to see Citroens get additional 100+ kg of ballast, that's not the way out. At the end of 2000-s constant waivers and rule changes almost killed the championship and made almost all manufacturers involved angry.

The opposition needs to be stronger. What should we expect when a team with an almost 2 season long milage before 2014 already is facing a two-car factory team beaten by independents, a factory team that builds the new car in FP0 of the first round of the championship? A three car factory team from Honda (and not run by JAS), stronger driver line-up for Lada and a new strong make would give the series a breath

i think citroen are just playing with the rest, they are only showing 85-90% of what they can do. once Honda and Lada can catch up Citroen will increase their pace ... at the end Honda and Lada could leave the series frustrated and no new manufacturers would join fearing the same result.

just add more weight or a balance of performance like in the most GT3 series.

I think Honda's biggest weekness - drivers and the team also sey this - is the engine performance and the contruction type (hatchback vs the sedans). Non of theese factors are JAS related.

Imho the current Lada driver line up is OK, if they will run a 4 car team next year with Lapierre will be more better.

Imho wtcc need more space for the technical developement - to allow the rival manufacturesrs to catch the Citroen - with some (major) cost reduction element (especially for private teams). A kind of EVO rules, like in BSB or WSB. With a good Evo rules we may can forget the extra weight and also the reverse grid for race 2.

what we need is another manufacturer with a big budget give their full backing to their WTCC effort, like what Chevrolet did. you need a manufacturer with big money to hire a top driver like Muller or Pechito and build a competitive car. that's the only way. Honda's not giving 100% support and it shows, with Lada passing them.

another short term fix would just be to increase the compensation balance range. +60kg is not really that much of a burden when the car is so much faster. maybe have a maximum ballast of 120kg or something.

Completly agree with you for the first part, a lot less for the second. But i don't want to see a BOPed serie so...
