Speed should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

[From www.f1racing.net]

"While traction control will be a system that will be particularly beneficial in the wet, when getting over 800 horsepower down on the track without spinning the wheels is particularly difficult, Ferrari driver Rubens Barrichello would prefer to do all the hard work himself and not use a computer.

A computer will now replace the delicate right foot of the driver and become a great leveler of individual driver skills.

"Of course the braking, turn in, and actual speed in the corners will still demand a lot of the driver, but the important acceleration process in the wet and to a lesser extent in the dry out of slow corners, will now be just a case of pressing the throttle and wait for the car do the rest," says Barrichello, who like most of the drivers, prefers to match his own driving skills against his opposition than that of a computer."

"...the delicate right foot of the driver..."
Delicate my... glASS, watch out for the second red car !!!...

Question: Do you know if any driver will run without TC ???

Doubt it. Though didn't Zanardi run steel breaks at his lowest ebb??

HA HA ,that thing about barichello was funny-he really is letting the pressure(self induced) get to him isn't he?
Several of the F1 sites had news of the ferrari drivers having a choice of TC or not-there are concerns about race long reliability.
