Leclerc for me, not only the 'politically correct' answer, but the right one, I believe. Of course it would have been Lando if he had made it to the podium, but as it was he didn't win me £170.......

Alyse,
Not only is your answer politically incorrect it is also the wrong one. Bottas for me. He had to stick it out behind the scenes to pressure Leclerc and allowed Hamilton to win. I get it, he is behind in the points. He is a team player. Sent from my SM-G950W using Tapatalk |

Leclerc gets my vote as he was robbed of a win by the lenient penalty for Lewis

Leclerc. I was disappointed he didn’t grab the win.

Danny Ric, what an improvement. A couple of tweaks and he'll be up there.

Leclerc. There has to be a bit of a question of how much was Charles and how much was the car, but I think he deserves it.
Who else? Hamilton? Although the penalty led to his amazing comeback drive I still think the incident excludes him from DOTR. Bottas? For being a good No 2? No. Ricciardo. For not being as cr4p as he has been so far this season? Definitely not. (Good to see him back near the sharp end though.) |

LeClerc for me - nobody expected that, would have been a well deserved win.

Leclerc hands down!
Hamilton was at his most combative and very very racey, which is what people loved about him in the first place. Alonso, class act once again. Sainz, suffered behind Ricciardo twice, how much time do we reckon he lost? 20-25 seconds stuck in hot air? |

Certainly it was a crazy race seeing Charles up front in the lead. Sadly he didn’t have enough to keep the Merc back, but there’s no shame in that. Better times ahead for Ferrari

Got to be an honourable mention for Mazepin - finished ahead of this teammate.

I believe the correct answer this weekend can be Charles Leclerc. One of the greatest drives I've ever seen in Formula 1, as I do not believe the Ferrari was as quick as the Mercedes this weekend, but he held on for so long. I wish he had won.

Many drivers really drove well. I think Alonso did really well, and during the weekend showed why is is so highly rated. Bottas drive amazingly well, and Saintz was on fire! Norris also impressed me a lot. What a solid drive.
Leclerc? Yeah, he was amazing but leading a race from the front is not overcoming hurdles and clawing your victory from the jaws of defeat. His team gets my team vote, though, for putting him up there. But, I say two drivers really, really nailed it. Ricciardo defended like a champ. He had a faster car behind him in DRS range for *so* long, and there was no slouch in that car! His defence is worthy of driver of the day. The other driver got a penalty, just said ok and then started to drive like the others stood still. Leclerc upped his pace with purple sectors and fastest laps, and then Hamilton *still* drove a second faster! For ten laps or something! This is a 8th time world champion driving as best he can. Lewis Hamilton got my vote today. |

How about Vettel? After the race he was spotted helping the clean up crew litter picking. It’s truely appalling how the British public just drop their litter where they stand for someone else to deal with. London was a rubbish dump after the Football and Silverstone was the same. Go to an event in Japan or South Korea and everybody takes their litter home….
