OK, so when the Bear speaks, many are listening. Yet I find myself among those not getting many points and references, so I thought it might be nice to have a thread to unravel the clues and gain more insight.

So, whoever finds something, please post here and hope that someone in the know helps out.

My beginning question: In #105, the Bear repeatedly speaks of "Solo Al". Who's that and what is that all about?

My favorite part of that (almost forgot it) was the Murphy entry of material that was NOT included in the LTC articles. It's at the far bottom of the June 22, 2007 Poop, so it might be easy to miss, so here it is (interesting people that Solo Al was hanging out with)

Over at Last Turn Clubhouse, a little investigation turned up some real questions about the finances – or lack of them – behind CET Technologies, as the company sold by Al Solaroli last year is now called, and published them in an article titled Smoke, Smokey, and Infinite Networks. Al may be okay, of course, but only if he got cash, not the stock now worth south of fifteen cents a share. Otherwise, he might not have the cash to fund his aggressive racing budget.

The most interesting story within that article was dismissed by LTC with the single sentence “A reported link between officers of Infinite Networks and the United Kingdom of Atlantis could not be verified by Last Turn Clubhouse.” Too bad, because Murphy thinks it’s hilarious. (Why are you getting this feeling that the Bear is going to tell you all about out it?) Well, you see, there are these guys who are executives, officers, directors and shareholders of all these corporations that don’t actually seem to do or sell anything – except their own stock. Anyway some of these same guys, inspired perhaps by the help-me-get-my-money-out-of-Africa scams, decided to do it with little more style by creating a whole country, making themselves ministers and royalty, then attempting audacious scams. Some must have worked, since the king, Sheikh Yakub Al-Sheikh Ibrahim, is a fugitive wanted by the U.S. Government on wire fraud, money laundering, income tax evasion and false statement charges. One source lists Infinite Networks Corporation’s President (that would be Al Solaroli’s boss), as the Royal Minister of Foreign Affairs for the United Kingdom of Atlantis. Apparently the Kingdom’s minions were hard at work recently on the Southwest Pacific island of Palau. Here’s the short version of that story, from reports in Pacific Magazine, Shenzhen Daily, and Vanuatu Daily News.

A delegation of Atlanteans arrived suddenly last month and requested to meet with (Tommy) Remengesau (Palau’s President), said Billy Kuartei, chief of staff for the president. Kuartei said he cautiously set up a meeting with the president’s senior legal counsel, the attorney general and himself instead.

The proposal was for a low-interest loan of up to $100 million – the catch (there always is one, you know) was that Palau would have to pay a fee of 2 percent of the loan, or up to $2 million, to Atlantis as part of the deal. The kingdom also wanted Palau to sign a number of treaties that recognized Atlantis as a country and essentially set up diplomatic relations. When Palau investigators used a marine law enforcement program to locate the country with the coordinates given by the delegation that visited Palau, “No land mass was shown.” Atlantis was apparently still underwater.
