Geva-Nelson should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Something very Special!

Every now and again you witness something special and today was such a day for everyone who watched round 9 of the Dutch Formula Ford championship at Assen.

After a messy start 7 drivers broke away from the field and gave us all 12 laps of excitement. Wheelbanging, slipstreaming, drivers making up 4 places within 2 corners. This race had it all. It was quite simply the finest Formula Ford race I have ever seen, and you guys know how many i must've seen in my life. After the race even the drivers who didnt make the podium were excited, such was the level of driving and the fairness of the fight ! Fantastic
In the end it was John Svensson who held a massive 0.072 at the finish line!
The Zetecbattle was decided with a 0,101 gap... Luckily race one was much more relaxed.... Pastorelli was miles ahead and had a gap of 0.5 seconds..... We're loving these duratecs.

Race 2 Result
1. John Svensson Van Diemen DP07 12 Laps
2. Francesco Pastorelli Mygale SJ07, at 0.072 sec
3. Anders Krohn Mygale SJ07 at 1.151
4. Laurens de Wit Van Diemen DP06 at1.220
5. Simon Knap Mygale SJ07 at 1.971
6. Rogier Jongejans Mygale SJ07 at 2.107
7. Henk Vuik Mygale SJ07 at 13.343
8. Melroy Heemskerk Mygale SJ01 at 16.811 (Zetec)
9. Jan Paul van Dongen Van Diemen RF00 at 16.910 (Zetec)
10. Auke Genemans Mygale SJ04 at17.330 (Zetec)

This is the situation with 2 laps to go!

Oh and guys, Geva is joining the british field as well next weekend, see you there.

Sounds like classic Formula Ford racing, is there any streaming of it anywhere as I have previously watched Dutch FF on a website but I can't remember what it is. Top 6 seperated by 2.1 sec after 12 laps, great stuff!
