RPM Rally on Motors TV

Does anyone watch this program at all? I've really taken to it lately after not paying much attention to it, there seems to be some rather expensive rally cars in Ireland putting on some fantastic action. Some of the tarmac stages and driving is just so exciting. Perhaps its a combination of this and how the program is put together but I'm finding it more exciting watching these cars and stages than the WRC stuff.

I'm not surprised! There are more WR Cars in Ireland than any other country - and I wouldn;t be surprised if a number of Irish events boast more WRC's than any round of the WRC this year. Add to those the huge fleet of sideways Mk2 Escorts and some great stages and there really is something for everyone Just a shame the coverage isn't more widely available.

Perhaps they've got something very right if there can be that many top cars in a national championship. Are any of the regulars entering the WRC round?

They have got something very right - the Irish championships have well organised events, good stages and there are plenty of drivers with significant amounts of cash. Rallying is bigger than circuit racing in Ireland so you've got more of the big money players invovled than this side of the water.

I'd expect the Irish WRC round to have a lot of the locals entered - and some of them will be giving the WRC regulars a bloody nose. The entry list will make interesting reading and I'd expect more WR cars in that event than any other WRC round for a long time.

It is most certainly going to be a very interesting event to see where the Pro's VS the regulars finish.

RPM: Excelent TV
Its available online late on Thursday Nights as 'The rally review show'
Check www.rte.ie for details

We have had Gronholm over already in Febuary and Eugene came within the last few miles of beating him only to mis hear a note.. and Seb Loeb is coming over in a couple of weeks for Donegal

The only WRCs that haven't been here are the Xsara and the Peugeot 307 that haven't been ticked off the list but there have been shells of those cars here though but you guys already know that
