Charlies should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
One of Galli's sponsors pulled out, so his WRC programme has been suspended. They were hoping to find some money and carry on later in the season. He's certainly entertaining; I remember him setting the fastest stage time and then crashing after the finish.

Amazed to see Loeb make a mistake, he's blaming his pace notes for the new stages. Certainly makes the championship more interesting.

Have to agree with what has been said about Atkinson. He's had a great opportunity and Subaru have supported him, but if he's beaten by Pons (a pretty average driver), then it's surely curtains for Chris. Still Subaru have hardly been on the pace for the past couple of seasons.

No wonder he blames his pace notes. You should have seen the speed he took over the crest, it was just way too high! He won't do that again...

A quite spectacular error, nice to know it can happen to the best of them though. And none of this rejoining to take second place nonsense like at Monte Carlo 2006 thankfully.

What is scary though is he apparently was very unhappy with his Citroens balance all rally.

. I was really looking forward to seeing him in Finland. I wonder if like Toni, he will ever get a works drive again. Surely a manufaturer can take a risk with him. He may well shine in a works team who knows.

Xavi

Dunno what to make of Pons to be honest, I'm sure he drives his heart out but he seems to get very frustrated and almost panicky when things start going wrong. Its as if he is gonna break down any moment. When it starts to go wrong, he seems to shout at his co-driver a la Germany last year (or was it '05?). Good luck to him though (he will need it driving that understeering thing!)

i have a feeling that WRC needs showmen like galli, he brings something to a sport that keeps the fans entertained, something you certainly dont get from then drab mr loeb! whos a french rally kimi raikonen, quick, but utterly dull and unflamboyant!

Galli was always great value, not often in this day and age that drivers get as ragged and sideways as he does! Someone get him back in.

Why don't we all raise some money?

Perhaps I should start a petition, who owns the TV rights these days? Maybe I could bombard them with letters. Some series promoters go out of their way to make sure certain nationalities are in their series in order to bolster the fan base so it can in theory happen here too, the man is a fan favourite after all.
