Here goes then.
1. Gronholm 2. Makinen 3. McRae 4. Ericsson 5. Schwartz 6. Gardemeister None of the Subaru's finish as Martin loose the key fob after scrutineering & fails to start, Solberg leads but then crahes into Burns who had slowed due to car now running on 1 cylinder putting out both cars. |

Update : Loix fails to make start, after being detained by imigration officials at Stockholm, who don't believe his story that he is a professional rally driver.

1. Grönholm
2. Mäkinen 3. Rovanperä 4. Rådström 5. Sohlberg 6. Gardemeister All skandinavian TOP6! Gardemeister is really on the attack, but spends too much time outside the road. |

Well we all got it wrong, only 1 mention of the eventual winner, few mentions for Radstrom, and only 1 mention for Sainz.
I would be intrested to know where McRae & Burns would have finished if their respective "offs" were taken out of the final times ?? |

Well, somewhat of an unexpected result, certainly. I think we can safely say that McRae and Burns would have finished 1-2 given the number of fastest times they set between them once they'd dug themselves out of their avalanches. And Petter Solberg finished a rally, just days after I said I couldn't remember the last time he finished one! |

Both Burns and McRae could drive saturday and sunday without pressure, had nothing to lose and had much faster conditions, so there is no point speaking ifs...
