If that was during the race (and smoke suggests so) that car was lubricating it's own tyres which may have had something to do with it!

Seriously good pics from everyone, thanks. With the superb contributions on other threads as well looks like a good season ahead!

Lets hope it was a valid reason Mike
I have a photo of a wheel damaged at the S's in Saturdays Britcar, now,IF a similar 'Deterent'was installed at Russell, the Section Observer would have less to do.

Much respect for esses kerb- any more than a smidgeon and Escort was likely to be ploughing on exit!

I'm sure the CoC has a pin sharp memory for which cars transgress the '4 wheels off' rule too often

I think by that time he was sliding on his own personal oil slick!

So maybe he won't need the naughty step!

The Observer would be taking notes and reporting in to RC. Must have been something like 6 Black Flags shown, not all for 'all four off' but some were.

in the Cloth Cap there was one repeat offender - he got warned but carried on cuting the last part of the S... I have to say I am too tight to risk the cost of the damage it does to do it. The Silver Mustang was being driven very aggressively and if it had been a 1 hour race I reckon Ludo and Ben would have got 2nd through attrition! Great photos (btw is it the same A40 in each photo getting ever more wild?)

One thing I was wondering at Snett, how come so many cars do not have tape on the headlights? Or are they using clingfilm..

John definitely agree about the Iso - is it a GT or saloon? Which did they do in period. Great photos from all of you as Terry said it bodes well for the 3 hour and other Meetings at Snett this year

Good question Simon; not sure really but more a saloon than a GT? No idea what they raced in, in period.

Peter, I'm no longer clear what constitutes a Gp1 car in Historics, or maybe I've just forgotten, but I think that maybe Tom Pochciol's Capri is one and maybe Pete Hallford's Z28?
