They better not ruin Bristol.
Before the race I didn't know anything of any changes, then the commentators start banging on about them knocking the place to bits! |

Well done! What do you think to it so far? Not yet a classic, is it, I'm sure it'll liven up though

I've quite enjoyed it, but it is Bristol. I enjoy it by default.
I think it should roar into life pretty sharpish. A slow burner like Atlanta perhaps. Still not sure of this boxy thing they are running. |

Loose wheel for Sadler. Tough break for him.

As the commentary team mentioned earlier there have been quite a few races at Bristol in the past few years that have had a rather long green flag stretch around the middle of the race.
And yes, it will most likely heat up quiet a bit as they inch closer to the finish |

#1 in with a knackered wheel and busted splitter... will that cause agro later in the race?

Shouldn't make much of a difference at a short track such as Bristol. Had it been a faster, more aero-dependent track they probably would have had to get it fixed though.

Caution out, Kahne spinning.
I wonder if Kahne humped the wife of a voodoo witch doctor or something, because he's cursed this year. |

But still, no wings have fallen off. |

They'll slap some 200 mph tape on that rear end and it'll be as good as new.

Interesting that they seem to think the splitters are cutting tyres.
Interesting that NASCAR did not see that one coming. |

Now that is some bad luck.
EDIT - Oh well, guess it might be a somewhat closer race now that the dominant driver is out of contention. |

Newman was pretty lucky he wasn't collected by the cars coming from behind there.

At least the splitter didn't come off (something I'm rather impressed about, seeing as it was quite a hit)

Gotta love those crazy yanks! Actually, I'm quite annoyed at missing out on all the pre-race build-up today!! I love all that! |
