Sadly the Toyots seats are taken, so we won't see Bobby in one this season.

Jordan purchased the ex-Osborne car to do just that, so wouldn't really want another FK2 I'd imagine.

Just the RML bits will be spares. Remember 2 Corollas ran in 2020 so they aren't needed for a build. The TBL was the valuable bit of the deal.

Can you run a car with the Hybrid system fitted in 2021?

No but it's not exactly hard to take it off. It's all bolt on.

I see Team Hard are offering passenger rides with one of their newly acquired Mercedes-Benz. Perhaps they're going to do what Paul Morris does in Australia and have a fleet of touring cars for driving days?

Matt Neal has been tweeting a photo of him holding a (real, physical) can of Rich Energy... filling a potential gap if Honda are scaling back..?

I assume Butcher in one Toyota is a safe bet but have no idea about the second driver.

Rich Energy is quite an... uncertain thing. But as far as I know they are sponsors of a BSB team and they didn't pull out so we can assume they paid the team what they offered.

hard have done those types of lsssenger days since they ran Insignias. Basically full hospitality on an existing regulsr track day. Deep pockets and they'll let you drive one.

I would be concerned for anyone who wants to associate themselves with that company tbh

Well Rich Energy sponsored Crees last season and must have paid up (obviously effective ).

2 Corolla’s may have run, but one belongs to TOCA, so Speedworks are building a 2nd car to run for themselves.

How about this for a wild theory? A Gazoo racing driver managed by Mark Blundell with no programme for next year in one of the Toyota seats... step forward Mr Conway,.,,,

Whilst that would be great, I think we need lower expectations for the 2nd Corolla, remember it was always said by Christian that it had to make sense financially. To me that say’s someone who is well backed and happy to pay for a decent ride. Blundell’s already committed with his sponsors to the MB cars Shaun will be running from the new Motobase, as per the autosport article.

OK, just a thought, I’ve seen Sam Smelts name mentioned on here as returning, didn’t he drive Speedworks’ GT4 last year? Could he be staying with the team for his comeback?

Is he still there though? I haven't followed it closely but was under the impression that he'd left and the company was under new ownership

He did, alongside James Kell, with very average results. To be brutally honest, it's hardly worth bothering with a second Corolla just for him to drive it.

I'd absolutely love for Bobby Thompson to be in the running but sadly I'm not so sure.

From a driving performance basis, yes - but I’m sure it depends on how he’s willing to pay for the privilege, just like almost every other seat.
