Probably right RBS. Anyway, those pictured must be out from a 1300 VW Beetle they look good but not period correct. The turn indicators are fantastic too.

Cant say if the Aprilia had a B pillar or not, the excellent Simca 8/ FIAT 508 C had none. This made the onboard access quite easy and elegant.
Strange enough, making search about the Simca 8, found a picture of a commercial leaflet featuring my Dad at Montlhéry. Grand Prix Olazur in 1939. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simca_8

It is more likely that they would have been from a 1200, as the 1300 engine only became available from 1966.

Or - to be more correct - from a Volkswagen Type 1, MY '61 to '67:


The name 'Beetle' was used in marketing, but never adopted officially as a model name until the front engine 'New Beetle' came along in 1997.....

I was going to suggest thatcar#2 was a Costin Amigo, but that was a road car and this is clearly not. I suspect some Costin connection though and am sure someone will enlighten me. (which, Baub, is not the same as setting fire to me, just so you know!)
