Minicross424 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Should Ekstrom switch?

I thought Ekstrom was very impressive last weekend and gave the regulars a real run for there money.
Shame about the power steering.
So your thoughts people, should Ekstrom stick to the DTM or go WRC?
Over to you.

I was impressed thouroughly with his performance, he should definatly go do a real motorsport that circuit racing is too repetitive !

Definatly should go do more rallying ! Never know could be on the skoda team next year seing as Audi, VW, Seat and Skoda are really the one company now so motorsport depts. are very much the same!

I diasgree actually, he is oung enough to be able to do both and i think the onl real reason for his switching is because of the Red Bull backing. They sponsor his Audi remember so he is obviously on the Swedish Red Bull ladder of opportunity.
He is a champion in DTM and should pursue that career as he is more chances of making it big in sportscars or saloon racing than in rallying.
If he had got those results in Greece or Japan for instance then i would be impressed but it was on his home ground in Sweden, no different to Mark Higgins seting top times in UK or Aghini or Liatti doing well in Italy.
Plus ou also have the VAG influence, if he was driving for Mercedes do you think he would have eve entered the Swedish in a WRC car, if so only privately!

He contested the Swedish rally last year, VAG obviously thought his knowledge of the rally would bode well for their Skoda effort - and they were right - but he's of more value to them in the DTM.

It's good to see VW/Audi letting their drivers have a go in the various departments and not shackling them to one role like so many other marques do with their top drivers.
