MADDOG-99 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Isolated T-Storms

"Isolated T-Storms."
"Partly cloudy with a stray thunderstorm. Highs in the low 70s and lows in the mid 50s."

Thats the prediction for Sunday in Montreal according to weather.com, I know someone allways says it's going to rain but this time there is the possibility.

JPM should be looking forward to this as he thinks he's got a chance this race to beat MS
"The Colombian expects the high-speed Montreal circuit to play to the strengths of the Williams car without exposing its weaknesses." BBC/f1

They better watch out for Ralph if it does rain, he's got to be odds on to cause some kind of trouble

There was a mid-race shower in the 2000 race - check out the preview:http://tentenths.com/forum/showthrea...threadid=55403

This shook up the order and got Fizzi and Jos into the points.

Can people just stop believing the weather forecast for once

EVERY RACE FORECAST this year says a possibility of thunderstorm during the race...yet NONE of it happened as forecast...the worse we've seen is a small drizzle prior to Sepang GP.

Hey - a bit of rain would be great because it tends to separate out car performance and driver performance and then the best driver might win for a change., instead of that German bloke who apparently gets on the top step by having a superior car and a team-mate that does all the hard work. Since he's such an average driver I bet he's not all that much in the wet...

Didn't realise he gets different wet tyres to all the other drivers - did that happen even when there was only one tyre supplier knowlsey?

Hence the winkie....

He's the best wet weather driver out there probably....but nowadays he's helped a lot by the poor Michelin wets and the fact that Ferrari are the only top Bridgestone team.

He does put Rubens in the shade though.....and he's a damn good wet weather driver too!

the words "wet weather "and "probably" are somewhat redundant in that sentence!

Have to say that based on many performances I don't need much further convincing about Schumacher in the wet - certainly there are others, but I need to be persuaded of their right to be considered in the same class.

I hope the Michelin full wets are much better this year, it can make for great racing.

Michael's biggest strength in wet weather comes from his ability in the laps when it's getting wet, or getting dry.

He's more confident than anyone else in changeable conditions.

Ironically, at the moment Michelin tyres are better in the changeable bits and Bridgestone's when it's fully wet.

Yeah, Michael is clearly the best in changeable conditions. The way he pulled away from Mika at Nurburgring 2000 when it was in the early stages of rain, on slicks was phenomenal.

And of course his first Ferrari title was confirmed in the drizzle of Suzuka.

I'm not saying that's going to happen, but the Williams has been at BAR-Renault level at many of the circuits this year. It's just primarly been poor stratagy, qualifying or bad luck that's made them look extra poor. Even the F2002 was sometimes beaten.
