BritCar - circa £5k+ ?

Eek - I think I'll stick with the 2CV 24-Hours (or reckon I can get a drive in Nurburgring 24 for that).

Why doesn't somebody change the name from Neil Cunningham to Alistair Davidson? ...Al has done a good job in the Mini and will continue to do so yet never appears in the programmes-yet the man that never drives it always does! Andy Allen's BMW CSL that appeared in road trim at Brands will have less weight this time and a few extra mods so should go well-it was up to 3rd at one point at Brands!!

I am now in Car 27 as well as Car 28. Greedy Bastos. Shaking down the Porsche every other day at Llandow. We have a CSL in reserve if the Schnell Beetle has a major development problem prior to the race.

Just looked at result - what was the amendment for?? Looked close at the front at least? No pdfs up yet so can`t refer to lap chart.

Also, why no Leggate/Reid MG????

The works MG never made it into the race, and the team, from team manager down through Fiona Leggate to the wheel washer, would only look at their shoes and shake their heads whe asked why. Very cagey.

The McInerneys protested, and were given the class win over the Lemmer car, which allegedly didn't stop for the mandatory 60 seconds at it's last pit visit.

Full report on Dailysportscar early next week.

Nice to see Steve, Snapper and Martin. Well done Martin, good result. I think that we could have had a good closing battle if Munich's finest had performed as intended......

"Helpong" to see you at Thruxton.....

Oh yes, pictures please PJC/Snapper.

Brighton Speed Trials - is that a court for those who plead not guilty when caught on camera in Sussex ?

The nudist beach is fine as long as you don't join them, Baz. That's just too grisly to contemplate !

Try looking at www.mst-group.co.uk - surf to the August events listing, and choose the relevant meeting from there.
