You're describing the recent career of JP!

There's some pretty good - though I'm not in the know - guessing re AmD over the last few posts.

I haven't seen any speculation over AWE, he's a driver I personally would like to see back in BTCC.

AWE, Hill, Butcher & Jordan would be the mother of all line ups in my fantasy four car garage (given that Sutton, Turks and Bushell are definitely signed elsewhere).

Any news on Mat Jackson, I would love to see him at WSR, but wouldn't surprise me if it was AMD.

There's no point making suggestions of people who might be in a particular team if we know that that team has already signed different drivers.

I might as well say "Jason Plato will race for Team Hard"

I would be amazed if he got back on the BTCC grid, keeping a low profile since the Bartrum mafia ran him out of town

I thought BMR at first but couldnt see Warren Scott wanting a car cruising round at the back barely troubling the doctors car let alone the points, just because they bring publicity and money! ...... oh wait

Are you suggesting that Nic Hamilton is a 'big name'?

Did I go to bed last night and wake up in a parallel universe?

At least we'll have a happy ending with the BTCC grid. At the very least we'll have 30 drivers in 30 cars announced by media day.

With Brexit we'll simply have mistruths, downright lies, fighting and confusion.

Now if we bundled the PM and selected other honourable members in the back of the Subarus (nice Volvoesque load bay) and sent them over the white cliffs we'd likely make some people happy! 😁

Have you ever seen the crowd round his clio tent in the paddock? people desperate for a selfie with him and his dad?

I get he is disabled, I get he is an ethnic minority, I get he is Lewis Hamiltons brother, he carries a lot of hype he doesn't deliver on but because of those 3 things he is a "name"

Not sure how you can say he doesn't deliver on the "hype". Actually finishing a race is a major achievement with his condition let alone beating able bodied drivers as he does regularly.

Were he not connected to the shelved Skoda Octavia project?

I think he did a stint in the VW Cup before starting to do Triathlon events. A racing return isn't on his radar.

Before anyone says anything, I'm not judging him on his disability, I'm judging him on his ability to race. I'm sure he's a nice guy and takes a great selfie, but that's hardly a criteria here.

Who exactly are these able bodied drivers that he is regularly beating?
