Interesting how Pescarolo seems to straight be on the pace of Rebellions on these regular LMS rounds, but not when ILMC is present... still I'd expect pole for #12
Could Pescarolo coming back on song be perhaps connected with them getting to grips with the Oak developed rear wing they're now allowed to run (post ride height increase). They were also pretty much on the pace by the end of Silverstone - either way - looking forward to what hopefully will be six hours of closely matched racing tomorrow.

vyselegend should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Rebellion dominated warm-up this morning, they look determined to leave their last LMS season with a win.

LMP1 times are still unimpressive though, best lap less than 2 sec faster than best LMP2... Let's hope they won't be too conservative in the race, but I'm sure Rebellion at least can afford sending a rabbit.

Race starts in roughly 35mn now.

With no other way to follow action, let's pray T&S won't crash too often...

#12 Rebellion first pit with only 22laps under it's belt. Was there a contact? What happened?

I can't have RLM because I have a sound problem on my netbook...

EDIT: Seems it's really stuck in its box...

AF Corse and Rebellion failure today, hopefully the 13 doesnt have a problem although I really want to see Pescarolo win the championship.

Af Corse are struggling this weekend because, #51 was again a late starter, the championship winners are apparently taking a very relaxed approach to the weekend so far. Gimmi Bruni explained that was far from the case. “We have a new car straight from the factory this weekend as our car is already going to Petit Le Mans. The truck bringing the car here had an accident on Tuesday and we couldn’t open the back of it for two days until it was repaired to get the car out. We only managed to go through scrutineering very late at 11AM yesterday and we are still building up this brand new car but every time we put pieces in the car it causes an issue. I think we have electronic problems at the moment. This is not our main focus now, it is Petit, it was great to win the championship at Silverstone but we will have to see how we go here.”

Indeed. After 2 hours of great battle with a gap flowing between 1 & 4 seconds, Collard overtook Boullion to put the Pesca on P1!

Pescarolo is having much better pitstops than Rebellion, over 10 seconds gained on the first stop and then over 8 seconds on the second stop which gave them the lead. 13 Rebellion Lola may have had a starting issue (shock horror for Lola) on their last stop that lost them time.

Thanks for the clarification. No big surprise in Henri's team being more efficient in the pits.

About the recurent start troubles of Lola cars, I've read those critics very often on the forum, but I'm puzzled because I'd have thought starting efficiency was mainly about the electronics & clutch management and engine mapping, which are up to the electronic box supplier, transmition and engine manufacturers, not chassis. So IMO Lola are not directly responsible for that issue.
But please correct me if I'm missing something...

Wow, BOTH Pescarolo and Rebellion get stop/go penalties for passing under the yellow flag.

This *alkamelsystems* timing is far superior to anything the ALMS, LMS, ACO, and SRO produces. Really feels like you are watching the race and I love the sector times, this is certainly more exciting to follow than I thought it would be.

It doesn't list the class each driver/team is in does it? Cause it's a tad hard to distinguish the prototype cars.

Yep, suprised how long Leventis has been putting around, if they use strategy like this in the WEC next year in LMP1 they will struggle to beat Pescarolo, OAK and Rebellion nevermind the diesels.

I think it is a holdover from the MG Lola/AER and the famous startanator, which was certainly cleaver but needed Audi or Porsche level of money and engineering to make it viable, but maybe I am making incorrect assumptions too.
