Tony Stewart--new road-course king?

Personally I don't think so!With a win at Sears Point last year & sitting on pole this year, does any1 believe that He might b4 long become the new king of road courses?

Too early to tell. 1 win and 1 poll doesn't mean a whole lot at this stage of the game. And let's not forget Watkins Glen...

Not to mention Robby Gordon basically gave Tony the win last year by being his "too aggressive to think" self, and racing hard with lapped traffic.

How can a guy be on pole by 2 seconds!!! That is ridiculous. Were the other guys pushing their cars round the track?

It wasn't 2 seconds... Tony Stewart's time was 76.640. Kurt Busch's was 76.880, or 0.240 slower. That's not even 1\4 of a second. The only person in the whole field to qualify two seconds slower was Sterling Marlin, who placed 36th, and his time was 78.677, and the rest were of course, provisionals.
