Alex K has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Jose Maria Lopez, Racing Engineering should run for Championship, they would with Pechito on board.

Lopez couldn't get a win with Super Nova: there's no reason at all to think he'd take the title with RE.

And while personally I'd love to see Carroll back again this year, because I think he's a great driver and fun to be around in the paddock, I doubt that he has even the reduced budget he needed last year, unfortunately. Not to mention that the current win ratio at RE is Jani 2, Carroll 0.

So bring on Perera: he didn't really get much of a shake at it last year but showed he had the pace on the two weekends Dams did, and (Yoshi excluded) is probably the best talent outside GP2 at present. Other than, possibly, di Resta (on whom, who knows).

Di Resta is locked by Mercedes, I do not think they will pay for him to race in GP2.

Lopez did good job in Super Nova, his qual. speed was very good, I think Sears' team didn't have proper race set-up, and suffered from budget difficulties. I don't think anyone could win a race in SNIR. If you are insider you should what did Sears say and you should know Jose's version.

Yes, again, just like Pantano and Lapierre, only Carroll is the only one who could be good in F1. Carroll himself said he would much rather do GP2 than switch to Campcar, even though he has impressed in testing. If he was with a top team, he would win. The guy is awesome, remember he was in the running to win the first ever GP2 race but eventually won the 2nd race by overtaking Premat on oposite-lock. Two races later he won in Monaco...if he was back this year he would be at least a title contender.
