Historic FF1600 dampers

Which are the most popular/best dampers used in English Historic FF1600 these days? I'm looking at both AVO and SPAX.

I know a number of people using Quantum dampers and others using Koni.

Gaz are also a popular option. Depends on budget and if you buy into the addition of the expensive of posh dampers on historic cars with limited/lower motion ration of the dampers to wheel movement.

Spax also will make up dampers that fit into the UK rule (steel, single adjustable twin tube) of custom lengths

All these makes can be seen on cars that have won races in the UK series.

If you want to spend a lot and are not racing with us... then Quantum.

They and their type are banned from our series! Dick Dixon HFF
