I think the team could be a success, especially with Radisich involved, but SUPER BLACK RACING?! What a horrible team name. Form a two car team and I can scream from the stands "Come on the Super Blacks!"

Hmmm, Paul was a very good driver, but he was never the sharpest tool in the shed. Hopefully he's just a public figurehead and there's someone with real brains and money behind it.

And yes - terrible, terrible name.

I read over the weekend it's an 18 month plan, so that means they're aiming for 2016?

Just having a think about drivers and if they're after a Kiwi you'd think the "Big Three" Kiwis would be out of range, unless a high-level partnership is done. Fabs, SVG and Scott are all near the top of the pile at the moment, and by 2016 you'd think Murph would be ruled out. Heimgartner is coming on, but still relatively fresh by 2016, Gaunt and Reid have both seemingly had their shot, Ant Pedersen maybe? Nick Cassidy seems to have a lot of potential but is dead keen on open-wheeler, same with Richie Stanaway. Earl Bamber?

I think that the best solution/ option for this potential team at the moment would be to run a car out of DJR with Heimgartner at the wheel, although I believe it would be probably best if they don't enter until 2016

Not sure why is needs to be based around being black or from new zealand. I would rather it just be a team name or sponsor branded, like any of the other teams (except perhaps RBRA).

From what i've read they want it to be a "NZ" brand, much like TKR. Something for the country to get behind, most in this country wouldn't care about "Sponsor Name Racing", but whack "New Zealand Racing" on the car, and everyone wants to know how it's going, exactly what happened with TKR, for the most part they were average, but most in NZ still followed them pretty keenly.

Have to Agree the name is a shocker, but the money is real, and real big. Just hope that management control it wisely and right decisions are made.
