Autosport web guesses why Lexus dominated in the Thailand round.
This season Honda changed the intercooler position.
It lowered the center of gravity, but, on the other hand, the cooling performance declined.
Probably, Honda took a strategy to acquire a lot of points at cool seasons at the expense of hot season's race.
If so, Lexus and Nissan have to earn points in summer season.
And it is interesting when the second fresh engine will be introduced.

Hi, I am looking all over the web, but cannot find anything about JGTC (Now Super GT japanse raceing series) from 2003 season.
Anyone could help me out?
The thing is, I am doing Nissan skyline R34 GT500 JGTC for PC racing game Assetto Corsa, but I am not quite there, still missing some bits of the physics.
Here you can see how it looks now https://youtu.be/1ezkyYUwp6k

So what is the point of testing 19'' wheels? Must have to be one.

According to Super GT official website,
Lexus squads might introduce 2nd fresh engine in Fuji 500 mile race.
On the other hand, Honda might introduce "special spec" 2nd fresh engine at Motegi!

If Toyota is gonna bring the Supra car in the GT500 class, what's gonna happen to the Lexus brand?

I think the tiny Supra should be in GT300 with a bespoke car built up like the BRZ. Keep Lexus in GT500 with the upcoming LC F.

It will be sensible for apr Racing to replace Prius GT300 (which was said apparently that 2018 will be the last year for the car) with new Supra. The Supra has FR layout which will be suitable for GT300 spec.

And also, previously TRD has presented the race-spec 2.0L turbocharged engine.

Can we call the Supra tiny though? The Mark IV was a big GT in its day, and I think the new one is going to follow the same path.

For the Lexus, there is the GT3 version of the RCF. I doubt they want to introduce a new model now that the car is properly competitive. But then, it would be weird to have the "premium" brand competing in a lower category...

I think the new Supra's wheelbase is actually shorter than the BRZ/GT86, so it is pretty small!

Autosport web reports Fuji 500 miles preview.
*The heat is the key point
Honda NSX is likely to keep the heat in the cockpit.
Since the Lexus LC 500 prioritizes aerodynamics, it has a problem with brake cooling.
Exhaust heat of Honda NSX is very hot, so it's hard to get behind of NSX.

*Engine
Lexus will introduce 2nd fresh engine for Fuji.
Nissan remains with 1st engine.
In Honda, there is a team using the 1st engine and a team (#8?) using the 2nd fresh engine.

Although this is a bit off topic, that will make the Xfinity Series car look weird because of the 110 inch wheelbase on the NASCAR cars. Although I know that it's just a re-worked Camry that's made to resemble the Supra.

As I said, largely off topic since I'm talking about the NASCAR version of the Supra.

But how small are we talking for the production car. The GT86/BRZ has a 101.2 inch wheelbase for reference.

Surely the wheelbase of a gt500 Supra can be anything as the racing car is not based around the road car
