Not the sort of calipers you would find at the local parts dealer, I'm afraid.

Yep, although it's taken you 14 days longer than I thought it would. You are extremely slow on the penetrating oil bit as well. Helmets, does that help

Martin,I think everyone has given you the best advice, try the one you think will work best, never have had any success with penetrating oil on seized bleed nipples, heating the caliper and trying to cool the nipple with ice sometimes works,I think we all say good luck.

I would have though it was the nut on the steering wheel that's giving the problem Tim !

That stuff looks interesting, but it says on the web site that "We supply direct to the Automotive, Construction and industrial sectors". Any idea how ordinary people get a hold of it?

Oh! Please excuse my manners......

Welcome to 10-10ths 19drol62 and congratulations on your first post. Hope you find some interesting stuff here and enjoy taking part in the discussions. :-))

Wurth make a similar product call ross off ice. It is a combination of medical freeze spray and wd40 penetrating oil. I recently had a stuck choke piston in a weber 45 dcoe. Professional cleaning did not shift it. I heated the carby body infront of a small fan heater for 15 minutes and then used the ice-spray above, left it for two minutes and then used less force than was used before and presto it was out. Very recommended.
