Nur 24

Hello All,
Ive been thinking of going to Nurburgring for the 24 hour race this year,
which Im lead to belive is on the 6-7 of may ...... (anyone have any conformation?)
Anyway I just like some Info on ticket pricing?
where everyone thinks the best seating is?
Will I be able to walk around the "ring" while the race is on?
And who else will be going ???
Look forward to hopefully seeing some of you out there
Mike.

Stick Nurburgring into a search engine - there's two sites - one is the official the other is the fan - both should tell you all you need

Best seating is T4 grandstand on the GP circuit (Mercedes arena), best place to be is on the old Ring.
Walking around is possible, but because of the length and the size of the crowd almost impossible. Too many good places there. Best thing is to find a good spot and stay put.
I'll give 'em a call tomorrow about prices.

There are shuttle busses, they are few and far between but definitely better than using your own car. The traffic around the circuit will at times be worse than on the track. Parking is a nightmare, so either carpool or, as Eddy says, find a good spot and stay for the duration.

Walking around the whole track is "possible", but you really don't want to... - and there are walkways that cover some sections of the track starting from parking spots or spectator areas, so you can move about a bit but not much in relation to the track's total length. Other sections are almost inaccessible on foot.

Wooshy, if you do make it out there get there as early on in the week as poss. There is a group of about 20 British marshals who marshal at the Karussell and will be out there from the Thursday but we will pitch our tents on the Monday or Tuesday.

So if you do make it out there then come and see us all.

P.S If you need some advice on how to get there etc then PM me.
