Interesting that the CanAm cars are not getting a lot of PR- that all seems to be aimed at the Hunt tribute. Wonder what entries for the former will be like? Supposed to be a BRM P154 close to being readied for it's first race since period use. Think in the iconic Castrol BRM scheme. Nice!

Meanwhile, yards from me, there's a lot of sweat, blood and tears being shed in order to get one of the ex Hunt Heskeths ready. If it makes it, expect to see a grinning Irishman with blonde 'james' wig circulating the paddock over the w/end!

Traditionally Masters entry lists are only published very close to the event, so don't expect this one will be any different! Sometimes if racing at an MSV circuit you can find them on their (Brands Hatch in this case) site before Masters.

It suddenly dawned on me on the weekend that the Hunt Hesketh mentioned above is actually due to be racing at Monaco this coming week- so no wonder the level of activity!

Perhaps we should keep it quiet lest the crowds descend! It's one of the beauties of this event that you can roam around anywhere without being jostled and the access to the cars is free and easy There is always some superb machinery to envy both on and off track and yet I have camped for the past 5 years or so in the main campsite and there is never more than a few other enthusiasts around, long may it continue! All we need now is the for the weather gods to appear with some sunshine for the weekend.

Good entry list. It always amazes me that the Silverstone Classic packs in the crowds when you can see many of the same cars at the The BH Masters on a better circuit for viewing and atmosphere - particularly the F1's and the Can Am's, which will look amazing through Paddock Hill up to Druids.

Very much looking forward to this, only there on the Sunday but who can say no to that many DFV engines on the full GP loop. Hopefully it'll be nice weather to assist with making the photographs look more interesting...

Even better through Dingle dell and Stirlings where they head straight towards you at waist height!

Westfield used to be awesome until the track was reprofiled, you could look into the drivers eyes as they clipped the apex. Still the best circuit in the UK by a long chalk although Cadwell is great for spectating as well.

Eyes?

How often do you see a driver's eyes these days? (VSCC (mainly) and a handful of other historic regulars excepted.)

Don't know the details Mike but saw a few tweets about rain, oil, red flags and an amended timetable, so looks like they've had an eventful day. Think Brands is there so no doubt will update.
