The constant laughing of Skaife is annoying. Not sure if I can bear that up for 6 hours.
I'm surprised about the speed of some of the CoDrivers.

Indycar guys are building speed and putting in green sectors. Keenly watching them.

The more I think about it, I have to say that Premat has the hardest job out there.

Scotty Mac destroys teammates and is so fast with the car loose, to try to slot into that car and keep it together.

Moffat is very quick but so often when he is so quick he ends up bending it. Sadly for Tickford I really worry about Randle.

Tony D looked pretty hungry passing the Double Davo car too. Funny how Will was griping about how bad the car was but nobody was getting past.

Also, both Boost/GRM cars a cigarette paper apart. What does that tell you?

Youlden again. Larry Perkins moment perhaps? He was error prone in FPRA cars.

Maybe the errors were being caused by brakes?

Also going off strategy to make time up, when others, do it later

Premer just lapped Youlden at the Cutting, not the cleanest of passes. Huge potential to put one or both out.

Just heard on race control, report track breaking up around grid position 46.

Response that it is ok. (could be a problem later?)

Mostert just about got him at the chase too. Definitely not right, you don't want to be a lap down now.

I thought I saw similar look at Griffins yesterday to 2014....

EDIT: 888 nearly got Waters at that stop, but the Mustangs have the pace to run away from the rest of the field it seems.

Youlden back on the lead lap with that flurry of pit stops. Both Erebus cars did brake change.

#97 omg, door!

EDIT: Phew, radio messages for race control's benefit. Lucky.

Long way to go but looks like a Mustang benefit for the moment.

With 3 cars in the same bit of road, I just wonder if they might trip over each other. At least 2 of their drivers have form for it.

Also potentially a reliability issue?

Not the first time a factory Holden race car door hasn't worked properly.
Maybe they use the same tech as the road-going Commodore fuel flaps?

Blanchard is a ****ing spanner. What the hell was he thinking?

I knew something was gonna happen there but nice clean driving.

Wow, Premat slows and makes a mistake!

I thought he did very well. Whincup was probably the winner out of that exchange. Both Waters and Chaz look willing to put themselves in danger.

50 laps though with no big incidents.

Wow, how fortunate for #17 not to lose that tyre and do a heap of damage to the car if it delaminated. Their brake changed looked so easy.

Youlden off again, I bet he will be glad when his time is done.

Hazelwood looks like a loose cannon too.

No 12 working it's way towards the front, may be a podium by the end of the day.

Erebus cars have no pace today.

They seem to have intentionally split the fuel strategy, 12 seems to be on an economy run compared to 17.

Would have been a good reason for DJR to run a third car, to develop them.

They were talking about some teams splitting a rec for additional car.
Putting a driver in for half the year,, then a different driver for second half.
This would give two youngsters experience, they could team up for enduros.
Also would be easier to come up with a budget for half a year too
