Spanish street circuit

HELP!

Someone put me out of my misery, please...

IN the back of my brain is the belief that there was a short-lived (street?) circuit in Spain somewhere near or in Fuengirola...

I also thought that they held sportscar races there but Mark Cole assures me that he went to every GpC race and he didn't go there...

Am I mad?

That question was rhetorical, obviously but did such a track exist???

Someone MUST know...

The only street track in Spain (apart from Pedralves, Montjuich and Bilbau) that I know of is Alcañiz:

They held some sporstcar races for barchettas in the 80's, I believe.

Fuengirola street circuit was proposed for F1 GP in 1983.Did not happen and was replaced by Brands Hatch.Fairly sure this circuit never used for anything though stranger things have been discovered here.Seem to remember that Tiff Needell tested a F.Renault? at the circuit and reported to me that they had a lot of work to do!

I remember international sportcar races in the 70´s on the circuits of Montjuich (street in barcelona) sometimes national and sometimes international races in the Jarama circuit (permanent in Madrid) and national sport races in Guadalope circuit (Alcañiz)

But there was no races in Fuengirola that circuit was just a proposal
