Yes it has. Or, more accurately, it is no longer open to competitors who are not already registered with the main series, so it is effectively cancelled.

I think that was the main reason for Ranger coming here to learn Donington for the World Masters.

Mr Jinxx
Please can you explain - do you mean it is only open to drivers registered with British FR or any worldwide FR series? |

The Formula Renault World Masters Final has been cancelled. What Mr Jinxx means is that now, instead of being open to entrants from around the world, it'll just be a standard European Masters round. Whether any Americans or other nationality drivers will be able to get in or not I don't know, but it's definitely not going to have the same stature.

no probs...
i stand corrected... However its done him no harm... and i would hedge bets no dent in his wallet, to come and race here! Would not however be surprised to see him in the winter series though, actually ... if he wins the fran am dont he get a drive in the Renault V6!?? We wait to see!¬! |

Let's face it - if you win a Formula Renault Championship you're not going to do the winter series. It's really for drivers hoping to do next year's championship. They do it to try out the formula or the teams.
