6h Vallelunga 2008

As the first entry-informations (KSM / Xbows) start to drop in: does anybody have a link to something like an official entry-list?

The entrylist is open until 08th of November, so no official entry list at the moment.

Appreciating that this is likely to be utterly speculative, are there likely to be any hardcore entries this time round? For instance an MC12 or DB9 like we've seen in the past, or a prototype such as the C65 we saw last year?

I'm guessing a combination of the current economic climate and the fact that it's only news if you don't win will probably put off any full time LMP2 or LMP1 runners.

Wolfgang Kaufmann’s season may end at the Gold Cup at Vallelunga in Italy. First run in 1977, this 6 hour race may offer the opportunity for another drive with Giovanni Lavaggi’s LMP1 prototype
(Kaufmann’s Press Release)

Be lovely to see the Lavaggi run at Vallelunga - somehow it seems fitting for Italian LMP teams to support their local non-championship enduro - much like Minardi, Osella, et al used to show up at the Bologna Supersprint every year.

As for the C65 I heared already that it is entered this year too.

What was the website of the Peroni-organisation where they will publish the entry? I didn´t bookmark it last year.

other new entries include a Radical SR8 LM with Greensall, Ferrara (current Porsche cup champion in italy) and Vignali, the car has won it's class and some overall races in radical euro masters

a Lucchini LMP2 seems confirmed by SCI-Randaccio while i think that we will see at least a Norma CN4

it's going to be a very nice race!
