Roger Moen Interview

Hello forumers

Now I conduct interviews for my website and this interview with Production driver Roger Moen was done at Goodwood a few weeks ago when he was driving a 406 Coupe up the famous hill, all you gotta know is that IN is me and RM is Roger obviously enjoy and honestly I did do this myself i would show you an audio file i've got of it!, honestly!

IN "Roger, Your driving here the 406 Coupe that Aaron Slight drove at Donington Park last weekend, how different is this to your regular Production 306?"
RM "It's quite different, the big difference is the sequential gearbox and the power steering but its a quite similar car to drive"
IN "You Simon (Harrison) and James Kaye are quite close in the Production Championship, do you think that you can beat both of them?"
RM "That's possible but you need to have some good luck and with 14 races left to go I think I can still win the championship, I look forward"
IN "And of course you drove a Honda Accord as an independent in 1998, Is that different to the car you drive now?"
RM "Yeah, its quite different, a super touring car has more downforce and more horsepower, but it's not different to the 406"
IN "And any plans for the future with HTML?"
RM "I hope to do a Touring Car next year but first I need to win the Production Class before I can move up to the top class"

There you go, short but Roger reveals how a Touring car is different to the Production and his hopes for 2002!

It would be good to see Roger Moen and HTML in the Touring Class next year. As for winning the Production class this year - I still think he will be beaten by Kaye.

I think Kaye will win the BTC-P championship this year as well. Be nice to see Moen and the HTML team in BTC Touring next year. Maybe they'll get a good deal on this years 406 coupes to keep the Peugeot connection going.
